I haven’t talked about this much, but I’m leaving for Glastonbury, England today. This Somerset region of Britain was also known as Avalon as far back as 900 years ago.
Legend and folklore place King Arthur, the Knights of the Roundtable, and the Archdruid Merlin there in the 5th or 6th century, but the mysteries of these sacred lands go back thousands of years—when the Celts and Druids roamed, communed, and attuned themselves to rituals that honored their connection to both the Earth and the Cosmos.
A few months back, I began experiencing strong connections to the Druids that were undeniably linked to Avalon—or today’s Glastonbury. This began when I was called to be with the trees. The closest forest-like place I could think of at the time was Carkeek Park. Then I realized Discovery Park was even closer to my home.
So I spent time in both—and still visit the trees whenever I need to feel more grounded, want to listen for their wisdom, or simply take time to breathe.
The Celts and Druids were all about the land and the water, and the energy derived from nature. I won’t pretend to know more about these ancient cultures than I do, but in preparing for this journey, I’ve been led down some remarkable paths, learning many things about their perceptions that ultimately boil down to reverence—for the human, the soul, the earth, and the stars.
And the power inherent in all of it—the interconnected web of energy that exists everywhere, and the magic of owning your own divine power.
Growing up, I was always drawn to England. It had little to do with the Royal Family, and everything to do with the wealth of history. And over time, I’ve discovered that most of my past lives were lived in or around London, as well as Glastonbury.
So, what draws me now to Avalon?
The Glastonbury Tor, which is a large human-made mound, is considered one of the world’s ancient, sacred pilgrimage sites—for Celts, Druids, Priestesses, Priests, and other peoples of those lands. Long before Roman Christians slaughtered those people in the name of religious power; really, to allay their fear of other cultures. I’m not sure what is different today on that front.
These mounds exist all across England, and are especially noteworthy for their perfect, straight alignment from the southwestern coast, through Glastonbury and the stone circles of Avebury, and well beyond. It is said this alignment was deliberate, though little evidence remains. I’m not sure how it could be anything else.
Nestled around the Tor are ancient oak groves, where the Druids found their sanctuaries, along with springs and wells that still flow with the waters used in sacred rituals. There are also the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, an important Celtic Christian site that was ransacked by Henry VIII in the early 16th century—again, out of fear, to exercise dominance over those whose spiritual beliefs were different.
Ultimately, this journey is the result of receiving guidance, listening deeply, discerning what feels true, and saying yes to something bigger than me. I’m called to England to experience this land and her waters, to bless their rich and sacred past, and to share the presence of healing and reverence for both. And it feels as though I’m stepping into my own past—my lineage in a way.
We all carry forward the threads of our lives. Honoring this authentic call allows me to participate fully in my own curiosity, a deeper sense of meaning and purpose, and the continued elevation of my soul.
I’m traveling with a friend, Amber Acacio. She’s a grid girl, and you can check out her website and YouTube channel if you’d like to learn more about her energy work.
Amber and I are part of a small group called Northwest Light. Last Sunday, we all wrote scrolls of blessings for the waters of Avalon that we will deliver there. We were also sent off with the group’s spontaneous rituals and beautiful blessings. Tears flowed—and plenty of laughter followed.

Speaking for myself, all I had to do was receive the love, the grace, the joy of the moment from some of the most wise, intuitive, magical humans to have ever come into my life.
As the journey unfolds, I hope to report back to you here, or at Mark of the Soul on YouTube. Next week, though, you’ll find a guest piece in collaboration with Dawna Kreis, who pens The Ember Way on Substack. You won’t want to miss her beautiful presence.
In the meantime, receive The Collective’s March 2026 Transmission—NOW WE SOAR.
As was once said in the lands of Avalon, “Go lightly, and be well on thy way.”
In joy and unity, always.
